The Educational Gaming Environments group (EdGE) at TERC hopes to show that learning happens in all kinds of places by investigating the possibilities—and challenging the assumptions—of game-based learning environments. EdGE is designing and studying games whose mechanics mirror real scientific phenomena, but more importantly, are fun to play.
