Each module contains content covering the four, key stages of Fireblade evolution:
•Module One: 1992 to 1999. This module covers the first incarnation of the revolutionary Fireblade, including key upgrades in ‘94, ’96 and ’98. What did we think about it? Read how the Fireblade revolutionised the sportsbike scene in the early 1990s…
•Module Two: 2000 to 2003. See how the new 929cc Fireblade, complete with 17in front wheel, evolved from the original – followed by the lighter, 954cc version released in 2002.
•Module Three: 2004 to 2007. Read about legendary designer Tadao Baba’s final ‘Blade – a 998cc beast with a top speed of 170mph. Mega. Scary. Stuff!
•Module Four: 2008 to 2012. We examine why the latest, 999cc ‘Blade – launched in 2008 – is still brilliant. And we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Fireblade, including interviews with Tadao Baba, Phillip McCallen and James Toseland.
