Perfect for the young inventor at home, Reading Is Fundamental’s free “Water Wonders” app features Sydney and Symon Starr – who explore their world by asking questions and conducting experiments with help from their family and teachers. Together, they discover science and engineering through writing. Children can choose to listen or read on their own. They can also join Sydney and Symon in their adventures through in-app experiments. Written by Peter H. Reynolds and Paul Reynolds, the app was produced by FableVision Studios and is based on the “The Curious Adventures of Sydney & Symon in: Water Wonders” – a book created by Reading Is Fundamental, FableVision and the National Writing Project. The app is proudly supported by Macy’s and Verizon Foundation.
