Send yourself messages in the future. Type the message into the TV on the screen, choose a date and time in the future and press send.
You'll receive the message on your chosen date.
People use the app as reminder or for entertainment purposes. You can send yourself a Happy Birthday wish in the future, which you'll receive on your birthday. Pretty fun actually!
