Moses, as a legendary character, is considered the founding father of Israel in the Jewish history. He liberated 2 million Israelites who were slaves in Egypt, brought them out of Egypt, and miraculously averted the pursuance of the pharaoh’s army. They crossed the Red sea on foot and wandered in the wilderness for 40 years. Moses is a great role model to the children of this generation. He faced persecution when he was just a baby. Without any viable option, his mother abandoned him in the river of Nile. He was then raised by the daughter of the pharaoh. He grew up in the palace and acquired all knowledge of the time. In an attempt to defend his fellow Israelites, Moses killed an Egyptian by mistake. Then he fled to the land of Midian and stayed there for 40 years. In his eighties, the Lord called upon him from the midst of a burning bush and ordered him to return to Egypt to confront the Pharaoh. After 10 devastating plagues, he had fulfilled his duty. He extended the staff in his hand by faith to divide the Red sea. He delivered the Israelites and wrote a new page in history.
