What's New

The year-end Cypher Bot update includes an interface clean-up, critical bug fixes, some slimming down, and removal of iOS 6 compatibility.

CRITICAL BUG FIXES
Fixes a critical issue on iOS 8 that prevents the keyboard from being dismissed. Repairs permissions for Photos and Notifications on iOS 8. New crash reporting service and backend. This will provide better crash details, allowing more timely bug fixes.

REFRESHED DESIGN
Cleans up the interface to match iOS 7 and iOS 8 design styles. New landscape file viewing for iPhone. Two new purple themes: Neue and Electric.

SLIMMING DOWN
Removes some unnecessary settings and toggles. All settings and toggles can now be accessed in the iOS Settings app. Keywords are always typed with secure text entry now.

iOS COMPATIBILITY
iOS 6.0 and iOS 6.1 are no longer supported. Please update to iOS 7.0 for continued updates and support. A major update for iOS 8 is coming soon with Touch ID and a new clean design.

Save and encrypt a variety of files. Cypher Bot supports many file types including all Office Files, Images, Movies, Audio, PDFs. Import files from your photo library, iTunes, Dropbox account, or any other app installed on your device. View files directly inside of Cypher Bot.

QUICK AND SIMPLE
Secure a message or file in seconds. Encrypted content can only be decrypted with the exact same keyword used for encryption. To share, just tell someone the keyword and then they can decrypt it. Or, keep your keyword private.

AES ENCRYPTION
AES 256-bit Encryption for Files and Text. AES is the most secure encryption method on the AppStore.

LIMITLESS
No limits on length of message or keyword, unlike the leading text encryption app. Store unlimited files and documents. Send as many secret messages as you like. There are no limits or restrictions.

AVAILABLE FOR MAC OS X
Cypher Bot is also available on Mac OS X. Both the Mac and iOS editions work with each other.
