App Description

Siegfried Woldhek's portraits are in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum and the Atlas van Stolk. He was the official portrait illustrator for the TED conference in LA and a TED speaker.

For many years his razorsharp portraits of politicians and authors have been published by two leading Dutch newspapers (NRC Handelsblad and Vrij Nederland) on a weekly basis. His art is often exhibited and appeared in dozens of books. Several collections of his portraits have been published. Siegfried Woldhek has won several prizes for his drawings, i.a. for the best Dutch political cartoon of the year 2011.

This App contains a large section of his published work, ca. 1500 portraits. About twice a week, new work will be announced via Notifications.

You can easily page through the images, in alphabetical order, or chronologically. The Index offers a search function where you can type (part of) a name. You can zoom-in, e-mail pictures to friends, share images on Twitter and Facebook, purchase an Artprint, or even the original.

NB: Newly published portraits must be downloaded first via an internet connection. Once downloaded, the portraits are stored on the App and can be viewed without an internet connection.

We hope you will enjoy one of the sharpest cartoonists on the planet!
