UPDATE - we have become aware of an issue that results in jittery display orientation (rapid transitions between correct and upside-down) and are working on version 1.51 to fix it. Say hello to Ellatron - she's like a Mellotron. But smaller.

Just like the classic Mellotron M400 of the 1960s, Ellatron faithfully recreates the sounds of sweeping string sections, rich brass, gentle flutes, woodwind, and mixed voice choirs. Say hello to classic Strawberry Fields, Stairway, Moody Blues and Zombies sounds. And Ellatron's unique "Wow and Flutter" button delivers that dreamy, blurry, not-quite-in-tune sound we all love - groovy!

But beyond the classic Prog Rock sounds, Ellatron has been brought right up to date with thunderous drum loops, a selection of organs and rich synth sounds incorporating real-time swept resonant filters. Ellatron adds up to an amazing package, and is the one iPhone synth you need to own.

This iPad-specific version of Ellatron takes all the features of Ellatron 1.5 for iPhone and adds improves graphics for visual fidelity and significantly reduced audio latency for enhanced playability on the larger iPad keyboard surfaces. Ellatron will be continuously updated, and the next major release will include a rich multi-voice sequencer, supporting 32-note polyphony on up to 8 concurrent Ellatron instances.
