App Description

WikiBirds is a WIkipedia-fueled bird guide for the iPhone and iPod touch. Wikipedia is a rich and oft-updated resource for birders, and this tool allows you to have quick, easy access to its wealth of bird information.

WikiBirds includes these features:

- An on-board database of over 900 North American birds allows you to quickly find the wikipedia article you are looking for.
- Automatic caching stores articles on your device for quick future access.
- Article images can be viewed fullscreen and bird icon can be chosen from them
- Choose to automatically cache all bird articles, or delete cached files to save space.
- Built-in sighting system allows quick and thorough recording of sighting information as well as exporting as a .csv file suitable for opening with spreadsheet applications or submission to birding websites.
