App Description

Bored of match three puzzles? Looking for something different? Numbrosia 3 may be just the thing for you!

To solve a Numbrosia 3 puzzle, turn all numbers in a 5x5 grid to zeros using "rotation moves" and "math moves". The challenge lies in using as few moves as possible in your solution.

Roughly speaking, a rotation move rotates a row or part thereof left/right or a column or part thereof up/down. Roughly speaking, a math move adds one to or subtracts one from a row/column or a part of a row/column.

Rotation and math moves operate on maximal row/column segments of length 2-5 that contain at least one non-zero and where all non-zeros have the same tile color -- namely all white or all yellow. Zeros always have a black tile color.

Your score for a given puzzle is determined from the number of moves you used to solve it. Specifically, the score is calculated by dividing the world record move count by your personal best move count for that puzzle. If you tie or beat the world record, a perfect score of 100% will be given for that puzzle.

Numbrosia 3 comes with 1000 puzzles that you can redo over and over again to improve your scores.
