It’s literally 2k to go
Yes it’s quite literally NBA2k MyTEAM in a phone. I was surprised at how much detail and effort was put into this game. From the design of game play and overall feel. Coming from a person that has 2K24 on PS5 , I was super impressed on how MyTEAM works on a mobile device(also I would recommend linking a controller to play , it’s controller compatible). With how I linked my PSN account it loaded my 2k MyTEAM up. Yes there could be some tweaks from being it takes ages to run plays or changing defenses/offense on the fly but overall it isn’t a huge deal breaker. I never really ran into some huge issues other then the camera angles were just messed up or the cut scenes you can’t skip. Literally the game uses the same movement mechanics, Animations , and dribbling mechanics as 2K24 on console. The shot contest or shooting in general reminds me a lot of 2k20. Yes, you’ll hit shots that are 20-30% contested while being slightly early/late. Also shooting in general is very forgiving like in 2k20, where you basically can make whites . Now for multiplayer, it just takes quite a while to find a game. For the games I have played online, the defense is very inconsistent due to the lack of “clamp/lockdown/steal” animations. I would totally recommend this game if your just trying something new or see a different side of 2k.
Better contact with inside finishing (especially bigs)
When you do a post up move with a big or you give the lane to a guard for help defense the finishing animations are very overpowered which is crazy because the gameplay is the most perfect it can be on this free mobile game. I might even say it has the best and most identical movement and animations to console and it might just be a bit better than nba 2k arcade the game on the AppStore you actually have to pay for lol but I’m getting off topic. My one critique is that the kinda choppy animations when defending or switching to defend the inside and although it’s such a small critique the fact the rest of the gameplay is basically PERFECT especially for what it is it just seems like an unnecessary aspect to be left the way it is because if you’re going to give this game the graphics the detail the animations then why not go all the way 🤷🏽♂️
Great game when I look past the little things and it has exceeded my expectations past every 2k game or basketball game I’ve ever played on mobile if 2k or take two or whoever give this particular game the right attention for mobile then it’ll be an all timer
