Mendeley Web Importer 4+

It's okayish. Yes, you can organize things. But the program seems limited. Too limited to create a high value workflow for academics.

For instance, I cant select and move multiple citations between folders--I can only move them one by one.

Getting citations into it is limited. It seems to support .RIS files, but it seems to not work with some. Some things I can add to the legacy software, doesn't work on this.

I do not see the utility of this over the "old" legacy version or other, value-packed apps out there.

I have been a dedicated Mendeley user for about 10 years and avoided the new app update because I had such a treasured literature cache. I was finally forced to with an update and I am so disappointed. The web application didn't move over any of my old citations, just the collections, but they are empty and while I have the article titles in the desktop app at least, they won't open and the app is barely functional even outside of that. I'm devastated I have lost essentially a decade of literature collection and research. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Cannot rely on this. The only reason I use it is for the high free capacity, but it causes a a lot of frustration for me as a PhD student. Typically does not work the way it's supposed to. I just wish Zotero, which definitely works, had higher storage capacity.
