Description

Read touch screens and objects in your hand with Echobatix version 1.2.1. The Echobatix app is an accessibility tool for printed text, touch screens, kiosks, and signage.

Echobatix provides text accessibility so that you can interact with touch screens, control panels, and inkprint, including text on objects in your hand. The app is available as a monthly or annual subscription with a free trial. Moment by moment, the app reads text that would otherwise not be accessible to people who are blind, low vision, or have print disabilities. In Explore mode, hear words spoken aloud as you move your index finger. In Read mode, hear text read aloud from an object in your hand. Use the Help screen to access training, provide feedback, or review your subscription. Echobatix works with large fonts and with VoiceOver, though VoiceOver is not required. Over the past few years we have developed and tested our point and speak capability for mobile devices and smart glasses. Our team, half of which is blind, is committed to continual innovation, including a patent pending for upcoming features. The Echobatix app is a tool to exercise your right to accessibility.
