IRC (Internet Relay Chat) is an internet chat protocol long before the popularity of social networks. It is designed for group communication in discussion forums, called channels, and also allows one-on-one communication via private messages.
There are thousands of IRC servers on hundreds of IRC networks active around the world, with hundreds of thousands of active users everyday. The key benefit of IRC is online anonymity. You don't need to register as a user. You don't need to provide email.
Cirsio give you the power of IRC with a modern user experience, hides the complexity of IRC commands, with easy and familiar navigation and usability. You can easily browse IRC servers, browse and join channels, and chat with your friends privately.
It even allows you to chat on multiple networks at the same time.

No server password support
Can’t enter a server password (only nickserv), so can’t log into my bouncer. Thus app won’t work for me. Looks nice though. Shame
Half-baked unfinished template app
I’ve updated this app 3 times. Outside of it being halfway an app and not even connecting to a custom URL, never got to use it.
Nothing changed between the three versions. No new functionality, no fixes to basic stuff. This is a template app basically.
Yet now, this last crucial update implemented Facebook ads. Absolutely important feature for IRC communication. I’m so happy to see Facebook ads every time I open an app I’m glad this one got on board.
UPDATE: the dev said there’s no ads. I don’t know what you call a band at the bottom listing Facebook ads. Really not that smart to lie. Screenshot is at working dot name slash yesads dot jpg

keeps timing out
I would have given this app a higher rating but it kept timing out every time I tried to connect to a network. there is no place to add a password for my own bouncer. this app has potential if it was just maintained like it should be.
