Style Studio is the companion app to Smule, the social karaoke singing app. In Style Studio, you can create Styles that work as templates, made up of fun audio and visual effects that enhance any Smule recording.
Music and singing is at the center of Styles and so you’ll notice that songs are pre-segmented—chorus, bridge, verse, etc, and you apply effects to those segments to create your Style. When you create a Style, you’re building your own unique look and sound that can be applied to any song while you record in Smule. If your audience loves the Styles you’ve added, they can use them for their own karaoke performances, too!
Create your Style based on your own preferences and publish to use it on your next Smule recording. Want to change something or try again? Continue to make new Styles as often as you want and publish them to be seen and shared with the global singing community! Each time your Style is shared, your creative vision is brought to life and inspires others to connect with you and your performance.

Smule, please please please please please go back to what made this app amazing, the singing!!! First of all, instead of creating trash like this, how bout giving us the ability on the fly to couple effects? Like how it used to be, WHILE you are singing??? How bout allowing us to use more than one effect on different parts of the song? For example, grunge on parts and delay on others??? How bout letting us make a solo, and if we want it to turn into a duo/duet the app will remove any part twos or whatever automatically? How about getting more licenses for songs instead of removing our uploaded arrangements??? Ooh, I know! How about adding the ability to upload and create arrangements from our phones or tablets finally??? You very lucky that the voice app and others don’t have the popularity to shut you down yet. But remember MySpace? Yahoo? All it takes is for the right endorsements and a more comprehensive app to come out. Just sayin.
Dazed & Confused
No rating. Why? I have tried to figure the Style app out so many times I want to scream. But then I would lose my voice. Oh yeah, that’s why I pay for Smule, so I can sing, not be a graphics editor!! Smule was just fine before you added all this “stuff”. I hate trying to sing a song - because I have to scroll the tons of STYLES!! Hoping to EVENTUALLY find one that doesn’t have FLOWERS OR BUBBLES coming out of my eyeballs and mouth!!
Can you PLEASE give us some decent directions on how to use this app.
I’m sick of singing with all kinds of technical hoops to jump through. It has really DOWNGRADED the entire singing experience.

I used to sing ALL THE TIME.
Now it is a huge struggle to push myself to do it, because life is TOUGH ENOUGH w/o having this to deal with too.
I’ve hated it since day 1.
Please - explain this app - it’s called DIRECTIONS.

why WHY just WHY WOULD YOU MAKE ANOTHER APP WHY DO YOU THINK THIS IS FOR OUR OWN GOOD what good does this bring all this does it makes nothing good idk care why you think it’s good THINK ABOUT YOUR COMMUNITY WE WANT WHAT MAKES SMULE A GOOD SINGING APP you keep making these changes to the Smule app that I think your blinded by what you want to do with us DID YOU THINK WERE GONNA LIKE THIS TRASH?! IF YOU THOUGHT WELL TAKE THIS HUGE L Having people steal others work is gonna be a problem THIS IS WHY YOUR LOSING YOUR FANS YOU KEEP MAKING THESE DECISIONS THAT MAKES STUFF MORE DIFFICULT TO DO IN SMULE LIKE WHY DO WE WANT TO SEE WHERE PEOPLE LIVE IN THE WORLD WE DONT CARE ABOUT THAT THINK ABOUT WHAT YOUR DOING AND TALK WITH THE FANS ABOUT UPDATES AND GET FEEDBACK WHEN THE UPDATE IS BEING WORKED ON *inhales* every update that you make will destroy the Smule app oh and you should think about what’s GOOD for the app. And also here’s a tip so no one will see who you are in the future put a rubber band like a wide one around the camera
