We added customer functionality so that they could buy gift cards on the app.

App Description

Through LocalMainStreet, local businesses can scan QR codes that were bought from localmainstreet.com. These QR codes are gift cards from your favorite local businesses. LocalMainStreet scans these codes. When you scan a gift card or voucher at LocalMainStreet, you get the amount information of the customer and can put in the amount the customer has paid. Once you've seen the amount and entered the amount the customer has paid in the text box, click submit. The amount the customer has paid will be deducted from the total value of the QR code. And the best part? These businesses do not have to do much to get the opportunity of offering gift cards to customers that give them revenue during these troubled times. They merely have to sign up at localmainstreet.com. LocalMainStreet also shows the businesses how to use the app and talks about us at LocalMainStreet. Through localmainstreet.com and LocalMainStreet's app, we try to bring about the welfare of our local businesses. And remember: it takes a family to raise a child, but it takes a community to raise a business.
