Sheriff of Mahjong: Tile Games 4+

For someone who has only a few minutes or even if they are trying to fall asleep at night after a really long hard day…this is your game. You can connect with friends on here and meet new ones which is pretty AWESOME AND AMAZING, and once you get past the smaller levels and take on the bigger ones—you do end up having to need them for supplies and support in order to get through those levels and building those new buildings. My friend played this game all the time whenever she had a chance and was totally invested into this game and was so happy every time she played it even if she was so extremely drowsy and drifting off to sleep. That was part of her charm and it also became part of her routine when she was doing her treatments (chemo and radiation therapy). Keep making games like this. It is very soothing and important to know that you are really doing fabulous and great wonderful work, while also having one of the most amazing and best jobs in the world. I have taken over playing for my friend because she is NOT able to PLAY any longer but I know that she does miss it terribly and she has not been the same since she’s no longer able to play it. #BestGame2023 #Heart&Soul

This is the first game review I’ve written, but the game is simply too good to not tell people about it.

First off, the gameplay itself is smooth and glitch free. Mahjong is by its nature a relaxing game, and Sheriff of Mahjong doesn’t try to change that. The game does progressively get more difficult as you progress further through the story, but it’s not a frustrating experience (unlike many of the match 3 games out there, where it feels like they’re setting up a pay gate).

The animation is honestly incredibly well done for a phone based game. The movements of the sheriff herself are in particular a cut above when it comes to the attention to detail that most game companies care to put into their offerings.

Most surprising of all is the music. Whoever wrote and recorded the original compositions are extremely good at what they do, with many of the tracks lingering in my head after the game is done (a particularly impressive feat, since I really don’t much care for the sound of country western music). Again, there was a level of care involved in the creation of this game that I simply don’t see in many games created for phones.

All in all, Sheriff of Mahjong is a masterfully created strategy game that should offer players hundreds of hours of immersive play. Thank you, G5, for putting out such a standout game in the genre.

I’m saving the last star for later. I hope the game stays just as it is. I am enjoying it immensely! WHY? Because so far, there are no timers, no ‘lighting’ pieces to push you to hurry, the music is comfortable, the game theme is different and interesting, it hasn’t cost me a dime (yet) ; no one has asked either! The Tiles are regular objects and easy to see....There are no ads....I select a goal, the screen does its thing and I sit back and choose my tiles to play. LISTEN: they carry the rules of Mahjong very strictly. There are helps and prompts available, but I’m afraid THAT will cost. You can complete every game without them! No rush, by watching the shadows on the tiles, ie, is this tile open?
***The only PROBLEM is that I cannot sign in. The G5 computer has decided they already have someone using my email (me, from past games...), and so I cannot get extra points by inviting friends....(and I WOULD invite my friends...this is a good game).....it HAS my birthdate, but is being an unintelligent, programmed badly, tin can! And my posts are being ignored, so far.
