App Description
The app “SAM-e on demand” allows all employees and visitors of Solvay to book a free trip on board of one of STIB-MIVB’s self-driving shuttles on Solvay’s area. Create an account, pick your destination and get ready to discover the mobility of the future! During this 4-month trial and in cooperation with Solvay, STIB-MIVB will be performing tests on Solvay’s area with its self-driving shuttles named “SAM-e” (for SmartAutonomous Mobility-electric). The shuttles are 100% electric and move around using several sensors and navigating systems, which scan the environment and detect any obstacle.
