Landscape view broken
I updated my iPhone to IOS 16 and now the wide screen (landscape) view is not working please fix this asap!
I’ve had these cameras for a couple years now, the one thing I wish the app had was the ability to delete the video files.
No identification
The feeder, itself, is nice. It did come with two broken latches which are supposed to hold the camera in place so I had to tape it on but otherwise, the physical feeder is great.
Unfortunately, the app is not very user friendly. It doesn’t really explain anything in the manual about how to use the siren. I tried to turn it on but the only time it actually went off was when I wasn’t trying to use it and it scared away the birds. How am I supposed to use the siren feature?
The video quality is very good, the recording are good except it lags a lot and the video freezes.
My main issue is that there is zero bird identification happening. I cannot find an option in the app to enable this feature. There is no information on how to turn on AI identification in the paper manual. The reason I bought this product was because it had smart AI bird identification.
Please…how do I turn on identification in the app? And how do I use the siren?
Sorry, but a Green Macaw did not visit my backyard
The IDs are quite comical. Despite my feeder only getting finches, sparrows, and chickadees this time of year, it never once said I had a chickadee. Instead it said I got every weird bird I’ve never heard of. Many are like jungle birds. It even ID’ed a Green Macaw! Their customer service at least acknowledged the inaccuracy and said they are working on fixing it. Unfortunately the word ‘fix’ means it used to work. These jerk offs sold a product they knew didn’t work! The camera works fine if that’s what you are looking for, but the selling point for me was the bird IDs.
