That's all You need. Record even just a few seconds of it by the App, upload it to SoMusix’s Cloud, and the let community turn it into a full piece of Music. Or select someone else’s idea that You like, edit it, or extend it by Your instrumental performance, singing, or any other audible art.
SoMusiX - or Social Music eXperiment - is a high concept, Internet & Mobile Application-based solution allowing simple or complex, short or long, but unique musical ‘ideas’; like just a few tones, rhythms, chords, vocal pieces to be recorded & merged together by the community, to create fascinating new songs & pieces of audible art, without any limitation to genre(s), geographical or cultural, real or presumed borders, limitations, differences or other obstacles.
When a new recording is uploaded, a new musical ‘existence’ is created, inheriting the style, taste & mood of its creator. It immediately starts searching for other artists who might contribute to its evolution, - follows, contacts & invites them, even sends messages; it stars learning, becoming an individual. MusiX are alive.
Follow Your MusiX’s evolution, or chose another! You can watch & listen to any & all current editing stages of any & all the uploaded songs, recordings in live, real-time. You can see how many other people are listening to it, liking it, you can read their comments, suggestions. You can check any & all remixed audio versions, and listen to new tracks, recordings which other artists are adding to it; you can even see how Your Music is „feeling” at the moment.
Follow as many other MusiX as You wish, borrow other artist’s recordings, and create new MusiX of Your own taste by using them. Extend them with Your audible ideas, mix it with tracks borrowed from elsewhere, don’t be afraid to cross musical genres!
Feeling inspired again? Re-join editing again, at any time or stage, regardless of whether it was Your recording, or someone else’s music. Comment it, suggest or upload new tracks, lyrics or scores. You are free to alter the evolution of any musical piece - like everyone else can - and You don’t need to worry. You’ll never overwrite or interfere with each other’s editings.
What’s Yours is Yours - Anyone can borrow everyone else’s recordings, in order to create totally new Musical pieces of any taste or style, but the system never forgets who owns the original. Doesn’t matter who modifies it in what way, or what it becomes, any new Musix inherits all original copyrights.

Can not sing or play a given instrument? No problem :) You can also upload lyrics, or even musical score sheets that You composed, and invite other artists to perform it.
