Some of our features:
- Parcel delivery- We offer on-demand parcel delivery services
- Cab rental- Option to rent a cab for X number of hours and or Y number of Kilometers
- Prefer female only drivers - Female customers have an option to prefer female only drivers. If no female driver accepts the ride, then it will be routed to a male driver with an option for you to cancel if you absolutely cannot ride with a male driver
- Trip itinerary share- you can share your trip information with your family and friends, so they can track your trip progress online in real-time even if they don’t have the Mbomas app installed in their devices
- Panic or SOS button- If at any time you think you are in danger during the trip you can press a panic button that sends an alert about your position to your designated emergency contacts or police
- Carpool/RideShare- Mbomas riders travelling along the same route can carpool/ride share and save money
- Book a ride for someone else- Mbomas users can book a ride for someone else. After booking a ride for some else, that person will get an SMS containing driver and vehicle details and a link to track the driver online in real time as he/she goes to pick up the rider.
- Car seat preference- Rider can prefer to request rides from drivers who have a child seat in their car. Driver can increase their chances of getting these kinds of rides by having a car seat in their car.
- In-app wallet for cashless payments - you can top up your wallet using card or M-pesa. You can also pay in the app directly with your card
- Handicap accessibility- Mbomas gives you option to prefer taxis which accessible to people with disability e.g wheel chair access
- Call masking – When you SMS or call the driver your phone number is concealed. This prevents unwanted phone calls and SMS from drivers after the ride
