.tif to heic - yes, but no
I’ve been scouring the web to find a method for converting a .tif image (which contains RGB layers AND an additional Depth Map layer) into .heic format (without losing the Depth Map layer in the the conversion process). Due to the description of this software I was hopeful, but unfortunately it did not work for me.*
*The .tif to .heic conversion worked fine, but in the process, I lost the Depth Map layer from my image. I used the settings Quality:High and Compression:Low for my conversion.
Developer: Please advise if there is another method or if you will update the app to remedy this loss in the next version.
Doesn’t work
Does not properly convert images to HEIC, they are completely messed up! The thumbnail and full image look like 3 fuzed overlapping ghost images. This app had promise but was a total disappointment, should have known better since it was version 1.0. Will not likely be able to get my money back.
