App Description
At the dawn of history, only Egypt granted women equal civil rights. Royal women had real power as Viziers and Regents and some even ruled Egypt as Kings in their own right. This App contains a bit of history for each of these remarkable ladies. Browse and discover their stories or use the App as a convenient, pocket reference.
This app allows you to browse through the centuries and 33 dynasties of Egyptian history. You can also search by name for a Queen or her Pharaoh. More than 200 Queens are known in Egyptian history and contained in this App.
Where the information is available, the App gives you the Queen's name in English and hieroglyphs, her Pharaoh, her parents and prominent children, her official titles and ranks, and her burial site. You also get direct access to the Queen's biography kept up to date on Wikipedia.
