Not worth it save your money

I made one chart 6 generations and so tiny you can’t read it when printed. No options to change up printing to help. Then created another chart so that no so many generation would be on one to print. Started a third one to accomplish the same. Lost all the data on the third one because the app let me save and I have a file but no data saved. Now I can’t even type data into the third chart. What a waste of hours of looking up data and entry. Developers should be ashamed.

pedigree is not family tree

If you want a program to create a genealogy , this is NOT it. All it does is arrange one’s ancestors in direct line — no siblings, cousins, aunt, uncles, step-anyones, etc. Unfortunately, it came up on a search for “genealogy” and I didn’t look at the sample displays closely enough, and so, wasted some money on it. Six columns in a spreadsheet will do just as well for showing six generations, and who doesn’t already have a spreadsheet?

I think you might have picked the wrong App. A pedigree Chart is not intended for creating a full family tree with all the siblings but rather it focuses on a narrow relationship/lineage for the husband and wife. A Pedigree Chart is a tool for genealogical research so it makes sense that it shows up under genealogy.

Exactly what I was looking for

I was looking for a simple pedigree chart maker for my geneology project. This one is simple to use. It’s nice when you need to create a simple pedigree. My work is quite extensive, so it is extremely helpful to create a simple chart.

The app is user friendly and worth the price.
