Eggental: The sunny side of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage
The "Eggental" valley is located at the foot of the famous Catinaccio and Latemar mountain chains in the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage. Over 500km of hiking and biking trails, 6 via ferrata fixed-rope climbing routes and two golf courses offer unique experiences. Visit the new Latemarium, the mystic Lake of Carezza, the historic Geoparc Bletterbach, the earth pyramids, the famous place of pilgrimage Pietralba and the traditional Museum of Collepietra. The unique stars and sun observatory of South Tyrol and the new Planetarium will show you the secrets of the universe.
In winter season visitors can enjoy two excellent ski resorts, 100% snowsure slopes, 90 km of perfect pistes, 100 km of cross-country skiing trails, 9 toboggan runs and a huge network of snowshoe and winter hiking trails.
