Why is this game still on the App store?
I can't imagine what these guys who are dishing out 1 star reviews for this are thinking" is how I started my last review of this game. IT NO LONGER RUNS. STOPPED WORKING. KAPUT. NOBODY CARES. It ran perfectly on my 2014 PowerBook (2.4 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7. It wil not function on my new M1Pro 16". Cursor problems. It's always been a little bit buggy this game. Why you would continue to push a game that no longer is supported (looking at YOU Apple) makes me wonder what other cluelessness is going on at Apple these days.
This game would be awesome but...
I fell in love with Tropico 5 on my PS4 so I purchased Tropico 6 for the PS4 as well. However; every time my island reached a population of 2000 my game would crash and I would have to start all the way over. After a month of this I finally purchased the game on my iMac including the DLC LLama of Wallstreet. To date I've spent over $100 between the PS4 download and DLC and computer. I started to notice on the computer game that once I reach Modern TImes, all my money would start to deteriorate no matter how many industries I have or how strong my economy is. I figured out today that it's because while my docs are registering the products being loaded and every doc was bring in $50,000 or more; It wasn't registering those numbers and instead was saying that the ships were either not picking anything up or only a minimal amount. $0-20,000. This was causing me to lose money rapidly. At the price you are charging for this game years after it has been released these types of issues shouldn't exist! I am very disappointed.
Don't buy
Purchased this game on April 18th 2021 and downloaded it to my new Macbook Pro with the new apple M1 chip running Big Sur. Everytime i would open the app and click on new game the screen would begin to load and then return to home menu. Thinking it might be that the game had issues running on the M1, downloaded the game on my iMac with an I5 chip, same issue, once you click New Game, it loads and returns to the home screen. Don't waste your money on this.
