Description
Cueist brings the atmosphere and realism of your favourite cue sports to your computer.
8 Ball, 9 Ball, UK 8 Ball and Snooker games are included, along with custom pool tables to play them on.
Previously unseen in this type of game - jump shots, curve shots, screw shots and other spin shots are simple to attempt.
Simple to attempt but tricky to perfect. Just like the real thing.
As well as human vs human matches, you can play against a variety of CPU controlled opponents of increasing skill levels. Beating these opponents will unlock more cues for you to use. Or start a CPU vs CPU game so you can relax and concentrate on your camera work.
What’s New

* Changed to a less embarrassing photo of Spike the dog
Ratings and Reviews
Do not purchase if running Mac OS Bid Sur
Does not work properly using Mac keyboard controls. Totally useless. If you have $1.99 that you just want to throw away, go ahead!
Not bad
As the other reviewer posted, it has great graphics and very realistic. Tables & cue are very customizable.. But playing with mouse or trackpad, its hard because cursor doesn’t disappear. So as you try to lign up shot the cursor is bouncing around, highlighting the dock or other things like siri. If your highlighting one of these you can’t shoot. The power control doesn’t always work if your cursor isn’t on the right place on the screen. I don’t have the game controller so don’t know how the game is with that. Wish that when the computer was shooting, it automatically went to overhead view. So now you either have to switch manually or follow the shot with trackpad. But it is still entertaining
Hard to play without controller
First off, the graphics on this game are incredible. It has a beautiful look and feel and the various camera angles during game play are great.
My main complaint is the experience when playing with your trackpad or mouse. The mouse doesn’t dissapear during game play, so if you have any hot-corners on your machine, you’re going to hit them when your moving the cue around. It would also be great to intoduce arrow control, where the cue and ball-spin can be moved using the arrows for more precise placement.
All around, it’s a fun game, especially for only $1.99.
