What a Shame

Could be a great little puzzle, unfortunately it’s quite clearly nothing but a money grab. I’m not the type to complain about IAP which support the devs, and I frequently pay for worthy apps. But this little game, wants you to pay real money after you fail the level 3 times. Right in the description of the app, they explain “Learn to recognize their patterns, and you’ll be able to solve increasingly harder levels.” Well, how am I supposed to recognize patterns when I’m interrupted every 40 seconds because I’ve run out of lives? Then I can either watch a video, or purchase 3 more tries.

Again, I have no problem supporting developers. I’d happily purchase hints, click on a donate button, or pay for additional levels. But half the fun of puzzle games is trying and failing multiple times before you figure it out. For an app to charge you money for every three tries, they are obviously only interested in raking in cash. Disappointing, and deleted.

Let’s Be Fair

The previous reviewer complained that after three attempts you either had to buy more attempts or watch an ad. Not true. You just have to start over and try to do better this time. THAT’S how you learn the patterns.

This is a clever, minimalist puzzle game that certainly deserves more than 1 star the other reviewer gave it. I personally would give it 4 stars, but I gave it 5 stars to help offset the unfair and misleading review.
Give it a try and see for yourself.
