App Description

This is an interactive storybook with animation and sound where the child has to find a birthday present.

On the first screen, the bird flies, the butterfly moves. If the child touches the girl, she jumps and shouts while the boy has the same animation and sound. If the dog is touched, it barks. The child now has to choose who has a birthday party: Emma (the girl) or Ben (the boy).

The selected child moves to the party house and enters the lobby on the third screen. There are four doors in different colours (red, green, blue and yellow) and the the child now has to find the birthday present in one of the rooms (bathroom, bedroom, kitchen or lounge). Each room has four different places where the birthday present could be. The birthday present will only be found in the fourth room - in the other rooms the child will find a coloured key that opens the door with the same colour to go to the next room to explore.

When the child eventually finds the present, there will be a cake and singing in the lobby before the present is opened on the final screen. The child can then go back to the first screen to repeat the story.

The story changes each time: The order of the rooms to explore is selected randomly; in each room the next key or the present is hidden in a random spot; and the present is randomly selected from eleven different possibilities.

The story will teach the child the four colours (red, green, blue and yellow), while the child could repeat the story in order to at last find the big birthday present: an iPad.
