Description
Do you snore at night and your partner complains about it? Are you sick to death of snoring of your partner?
Snore Control can be the right solution for you. This application records your talk or snoring while you are asleep, creates the graph of noise in room during the night, takes the total time of snoring down and moreover it can try to stop your snoring.
Snoring detection is based on artificial intelligence (A.I.) with the support of a new Apple machine learning technology. By using a large number of snoring samples, we can achieve high accuracy in statistics and in snoring detection itself.
How it works:
Mobile microphone is used to monitor and optionally record the noise in surroundings. By using intelligent noise analysis the application detects the snoring, makes the statistics or else activates the stop snoring function (at least two snores one after another) - it quiets you down using a sound or vibration (only iPhone). How to place your device correctly is shown in instructions.
By using the tracker data and by defining your own factors (activities/means/drugs/custom notes) it is possible to find out which facts influence your sleep positively and limit your snoring. At your disposal there are beautiful statistic charts for simple and efficient analyzing of your sleeps/nights.

Top notch
Although it saddens me to know how much I snored on the first night using this app, it definitely stopped me from continuing to snore at each alarm.
The record function is accurate and didn’t falsely record the background noise of the TV.
Easy to use, delayed activation function and easy to access recordings make for a great app.

Actually pretty worthless
1) The the number of false negatives, snoring clips identified/classified as not snoring, is shockingly high. (So, the aggregate stats on snoring are worthless.) I've listened to these false negatives and they sound like snoring....like anyone's snoring.
2) The miss-classifications are not even manually correctable. It would be trivial to at least add a feature that would allow you to manually correct them but they don't have it. (They do allow you to "rename" a clip but that's worthless as it doesn't effect the internal classification that's used to make the aggregate stats)
3) The app has a potentially valuable feature to try and wake you up from a sleep apnea event where you stop breathing with noise. They name such an event "stop snoring." It's not clear whether these events are meaningful (maybe you just stopped snoring for a bit) and, from what I can tell, it's impossible to assess that because they don't mark them in the saved recordings(so you can review, let alone correct ten). Given how high the false negative rate why should anybody trust this potentially valuable feature?
Helpful diagnostic tool
Lots of great features, and loads of potential: this app is on its way to greatness! Decreased snore time, but still wake up tired from interrupted sleep...not so much a solution to the base problem as a wonderful diagnostic tool. Partner is awakened by app when I am—Push notifications would be awesome, making it more comfortable to use for wake-up notifications via smart watch, Fitbit, etc. Would like to see integrated graphs, e.g., snoring time overlay on amount of nightly sleep graph. Ability to add wake up mood categories would be a nice addition. Thanks for great work on a useful app!
