App Description

Children are attending school in the Netherlands when they are 4 years old. How to choose a school? What types of schools are there? And what about the waiting lists? Did you choose a school? How does it work there? These questions (and more) are answered in the app 'To School'. This app leads the way through the first few years. Translated into English for foreigners who move to the Netherlands with elementary school children.

It is a guide to everything that you as a parent have to deal with. Which schools are there? What should your child be able to start? Which terms do you encounter in kindergarten and what do they mean? School times, getting used to, retrieve, transfer, symposia, staying over at noon, babysitter, vacations, bullying, juffendag, school doctor, speelgoeddag, left, building corner, weekly chores, school trips, school attendance and more.

Going to school is full of practical facts that are airy and brightly written. It offers just that little support for parents in the first, nice chaotic infancy.

This app is a collaboration between Frappstudio (known from the Gifwijzer app and TNO growth app) and Publisher Somoiso (known for the interactive storybooks Noa's Stars, Witchy & William, Itty Bitty Bug and Sir Steel).
