What's New

Now you can tip on the name of a volume/lun/qtree for starting a monitoring session for this item. A graphing window opens and if you activate the update function or tipp more times on the "load data" button, a line graph for all selected metrics will be shown. So it's possible to track the values of the item over a longer time. After 40 shown points the graph will be erased and another 40 point graph session ist starting. After starting the graphing window you can't change the metrics. So you can't see any metrics at the right side as long you have an open graph window.

At the moment you should use a mane sorting list for showing the graph, because then you have the value line of the monitored item above the graph window. If you use another sorting, the line above the graph window could change every new timeslot. This behavior will be solved in the next version. Look for the next update or update your apps automatically ;-)

App Description

This tool is your portable NetApp Stats View.

You can monitor all NetApp stats value for volumes, luns and qtrees. You need two scripts (php and bash), which you have to bring to a unix machine, with a webserver and a keyless ssh connect to your NetApp heads. Of course you need to bring your iPad in the same network as your NetApp is in.

You can download the scripts here. http://www.ruhkopf.com/NAmon

For testing this tool you can download the app for free and test with random generated values for volumes, luns and qtrees. If you decided it's your tool, you have to take an inapp buy to open the access to setup your own webserver address (on the setup screen) to the place, where you have put the downloaded script to.

This app is tested with a NetApp 7 mode metro cluster. Without access to a NetApp in clustered mode, I can not guaranty, that it will work in such an environment. If you want to test this, please contact me, for a testflight session, so it's without any cost for testing it.
