Karen K. Gittings, DNP, MSN, RN, CCRN is Assistant Professor of Nursing at Francis Marion University in Florence, SC where she has taught since 2006. She is course coordinator for Adult Health II, and clinical and classroom instructor for senior level BSN students and teaches Adult Health III, Pharmacology, and Health Assessment courses and is the lab instructor for IV simulation. Dr. Gittings has 26 years of clinical experience.

Ruth A. Wittmann-Price, PhD, RN, CNS, CNE is chairperson and professor at Francis Marion University department of nursing in South Carolina. Ruth A. Wittmann-Price has been an obstetrical/women’s health nurse for 32 years.
