Swingball Pro Takes a Whack at iOS

This just in: products that exist in real life can exist in iOS games as well.  Case in point is the new free game Swingball Pro, which is a physical game that exists in real life, manifesting itself digitally on the platform just a couple of weeks ago.

The product, which appears to be a high tech re-imaging of the sport of tetherball, consists of two players pitted against each other, whacking a tennis ball on a string, as hard as they can.  If nothing else, this free game helps give the masses an idea about what the product is like in real life, while allowing potential customers the ability to buy the apparatus for themselves without ever needing to leave the application.

As fun as the game looks to be, there is just something about having a tennis ball smacked in my direction at breakneck speed that doesn't really appeal to me.  However, if this is right in your wheelhouse, give the game a download and see if it is for you.
