Stone Blade Entertainment has updated SolForge with a new Campaign Mode for solo players. You'll be able to play missions using pre-designed decks against an AI to win rewards. Some of the missions will allow you to build your own decks and see how you fare as well.

The update also includes 48 new cards that do not bode well for the rest of the world. The cards can be found in booster packs, legendary chests, and prize packs, or you can purchase them in Reign of Varna booster packs and chests.

The digital collectible card game by Stone Blade Entertainment, SolForge, has been updated to include a new sharing feature. Players can now give their friends copies of their favorite cards without losing the original.

The update also includes the Imprisoned Heralds expansion, which has sixty cards with the four special Heralds for each faction, and two new keyword mechanics: Assault and Upgrade. If you prefer aggressive tactics Assault gives your creatures powerful bonuses. For a more strategic mind, Upgrade lets you swap out creatures that are already on the field.

Stone Blade Entertainment has updated its iOS trading game SolForge. The expansion adds in new cards, changes to the tournament and store systems, and a new mechanism called card forging.

Stone Blade chief Jusin Gary says, "new content is the lifeblood of any successful collectible game. We’re excited for our players to experience our first large expansion set, and hope they all have as much fun playing with the new cards as we had making them!”

We reviewed the game in the Fall of last year, and mostly enjoyed it.

The updated version of SolForge is available on the App Store for free.

Looks like a bunch of new stuff has been tossed in to SolForge today.

Tournaments will allow players to compete with each other at their own convenience ("no waiting on other players to finish"), as well as guarantee prizes for all participants whether they win or lose. Draft Mode mixes things up a bit by pitting players against each other as they buildup their decks with randomly selected cards, with the incentive being that they get to keep all the drafted cards. New cards are also available, naturally, as well as a new Daily Rewards system. Lastly, SolForge has been made Universal, so it's no longer restricted to iPads and PCs. And of course it features cross-platform support, so you can access your game and account from any of your devices.
