Dig Dug Remix is really two games in one. We are not only given the classic that was brought to our screens back in 1982 (eek I don’t remember – honest) but also the remix version which is thankfully juiced up a bit. In this case, I am definitely preferring the remix to the classic.

Reflexion by Trileet stands out among a huge group of Breakout clones on the App Store. A few have shaken up the formula with 3-D perspectives and circular paddle paths, but this game takes things a step further.

iDracula is a survival horror game that places more emphasis on “survival” than “horror.” While the atmosphere is quite creepy, and the graphics and animation are top notch, the game play consists of moving around just one area and killing monsters, collecting weapons and power-ups, and doing this for as long as you can hold out. It’s well done but ultimately monotonous and shallow.

Yet another match three game, Gemmed differentiates itself by including little colored monsters which you’re charged with getting to the exit. The game is fun but it’s hard to say that it will appeal to everyone. Hard core match three gamers may find the extras as gimmicky, and others may find the game a bit too busy and lacking of real challenge.
