Max Axe has been designated Apple's App of the Week, and as such it's had a temporary price drop to zero dollars. So for no money down you can get your hands on all the endless running and axe-tossing little old Max can handle. It also happens to be the game our own Lee Hamlet referred to as "a solid endless runner with a cool aiming system, and for the most part its a fun ride."

A new winter update has arrived for Max Axe, bringing users a forest that is covered in snow and new holiday-themed costumes for Slimes, Ogres, and Max. The update also features new Facebook leaderboard integration that allows users to compete against their friends' ghosts.
