Do Not Feed The Monkeys is one of the most unsettling games I've ever played
I’ve done a lot of messed up stuff in video games. I’ve beat people to death, slaghtered innocent animals, and even committed genocide. In doing all of that though, I’m not sure I’ve felt as uncomfortable as I have while playing Do Not Feed The Monkeys.
A self-described “digital voyeurism simulator,” Do Not Feed The Monkeys is a kind of management sim where you shovel money into a dark web enterprise that hacks into cameras or (referred to as “cages”) that you then have to watch. As you look upon these scenes, you then take notes and try to piece together what you’re looking at. All the while, you have to manage your health and hunger in real time, as well as earn enough money to afford to eat, pay your rent, and buy new “cages.”

Project Highrise guide - How to get started on ground floor
Project Highrise gives you a lot of tools and deep systems to grapple with while building the skyscraper of your dreams, but in doing so, it can be hard to know exactly where to start. As we dumped time into the game while reviewing it, we came up with this list of tips that should be good for getting you started with the game:
Builders can be finicky
The one constant in every Project Highrise building is the presence of a construction crew. These are the people that follow your directions when it comes to building new floors, installing apartments, outfitting offices, etc. They are the true key to your success in the game, but they aren’t always the easiest people to control.
Since you have no direct control over builders, they choose when to work and what to work on. The main things you need to know about their habits are that your builders generally work on projects in the order that you mark things for construction, and they won’t work tirelessly. Every once in a while they’ll want to take a break. Keeping these things in mind, make sure you build things in the order that you want them to go up and make sure you don’t wait to the last minute to build crucial additions to your building.
Swarm Simulator: Evolution guide - How to play like a good little drone
We all love a good idle game from time to time, don’t we? Good thing there are new and good ones coming out all the time, like Swarm Simulator: Evolution. In this game, you breed humble Drones to gather meat and eventually harness that power to do all kinds of crazy things like travel through time and evolve to higher forms of being. In order to get to these late-game points though, you need to be a good little drone and manage your colony optimally. Here’s exactly how to do that:
Adjust your quantities
Swarm Simulator is all about using your gathered meat and hatched Drones to purchase all kinds of other bugs, like Queens, Locusts, and more. If you want to truly maximize your purchasing potential though, you shouldn’t just buy as much of any one bug or item at every opportunity.
Although the game offers by default to spend all of your gathered resources on buying as much of any one thing as possible, this isn’t always the best idea. To avoid this, you can the purple button in the bottom left of the screen to adjust your quantities. Doing this can allow you to purchase the bugs you need while keeping any resources you need to bank in tact.
Pixel Plex Guide - How to Build Better Together
Pixel Plex is the latest city builder that has come to the App Store, and it takes a pretty different tact than the ones that came before it. Instead of being in charge of your own city by yourself, you have to work together with other players to build your city’s greatness, one block at a time. Given this new approach to this kind of game, Pixel Plex can be pretty tough to wrap your mind around, but with these tips, you’ll be on top of things in no time.
Prioritize Resources
In Pixel Plex, each player initially starts with one city block of land to work with, so you really need to make the most of it. Although there may be some variety in the things you can purchase and build on this land, none are as important as buildings that generate resources. Buildings like Lumber Mills, Concrete Factories, and Steel Mills not only produce revenue, but also the raw materials you need to do just about anything else in the game, so focus on those first, and all the other stuff later.
Holy Potatoes! We're In Space? Guide - How to Mash Your Opponents
Holy Potatoes! We’re In Space? is a great little space-faring adventure, but its combat isn’t always something you want to deal with. Luckily, with a ton of crafting and management systems to take advantage of, you can craft a ship that easily cruise through combat so you can just focus on the best parts of the game: The story and the characters. Here’s how to do exactly that:
