iPhone App - Designed for iPhone, compatible with iPad

Air Miles, the premiere rewards program for Canadian frequent fliers, has announced a revamped and relaunched version of their app. The new and improved app will offer users easy access to their account balances, as well as improved browsing of the rewards catalog and tons of opportunities to take advantage of in-store bonuses at sponsor locations. A new map feature even allows users to quickly spy all nearby sponsor locations and get vital info such as phone numbers or directions.

Perhaps the biggest new addition is the Air Miles Check-in Challenge, which is scheduled to run until April 30th. The contest will pit Collectors against one another to see who can manage the most check-ins during a given month. The top 50 power users will receive double rewards points for the month, allowing them to save up for that nifty prize they've had their eye on that much faster. Everyone loves a rewards program, but they love it even more when there's a shot at double points. The update is available right now so stop wasting time if you're in Canada, and go earn double points!

Viggle Offers Free Stuff For Watching TV

+ Universal App - Designed for iPhone and iPad

Function (X) Inc. launched the first loyalty program for television last week called Viggle. What seems like technology similar to Shazam, the fourth most downloaded app of all time, Viggle automatically identifies the show the user is watching by listening to what the characters are saying. After users launch the app and check in to their show the app awards them with points that can be redeemed later at places such as Best Buy, Burger King, Fandango and Old Navy.

Extra bonus points can be earned by watching featured shows such as "American Idol" and in-app commercials. Currently, the app awards two points per every minute watched. Most $5 gift cards to places such as Starbucks and Burger King cost 7,500 points, but right now the company is running a limited time only special for a $5 gift card to Amazon for only 4,000 points. Users can also set reminders and read detailed information on their favorite shows from within the app as well as share their check-in on Facebook and Twitter.
