Over the weekend, there's been a quite substantial update for Downhill Xtreme. Sinan Kubba rather enjoyed it when he reviewed it back in April, comparing it to console favorite SSX, and who can blame him?
The latest update has added numerous fun features including a revamped online mode and new longboards to use.
The online mode now allows players to choose opponents from various different categories, such as World's Best (featuring the top players around the world), Skill Level (according to the player's XP level) and Rivals in which players can pick certain players to compete against.
New songs are featured from indie artists We Outspoken, Kidd Russell and The Clench, plus there's a new longboard, the winner of the Distinctive Developments' "design-a-board" competition, as well as the golden Spartan, the ultimate board in the game.
The update is available now and the game is free to download.
