No matter how you look at it, life is getting busier.  Gone are the days of the traditional nine to five, where you can leave the worries of the office at the front door.  This "Leave it to Beaver" lifestyle has since been replaced with an intense, seemingly unending job environment, all brought on by the ability to be constantly connected to a communication grid.  But what if we could use this constant communication and connectedness as a way to actually make our lives easier?

A new piece of software from developer AppTime is attempting to leverage the unique abilities of iOS devices, creating their new management tool, Power.me (iTouch/iPad).  Imagine being able to have the most flexible management available at your disposal, anywhere.  Here are some of the key features:

Though I am not a manager of any sort, I could see how a tool like this could completely change the way you do work.  Plus, with integrated organizers and the upcoming addition of integrated iCal reminders, this could be the silver bullet that companies have been seeking for far too long.

The feature that intrigues me the most is the ability to upload your workflow and projects to the cloud using PowerME's website.  While this can also act as a handy way to back up all of your precious information, it can also prove beneficial if you wanted to make changes or updates while away from your trusty iOS device of choice.  Plus, this will also help in collaborating with other peers that have the same software.

If you can get past the initial sticker shock of paying twenty dollars for the iPod Touch version or thirty dollars for the iPad app, it could prove to be one of the best investments you ever make.  What else is the company credit card for, anyway?
