Independent Games Festival Announces its Finalists for 2014 IGF Awards

The Independent Games Festival (IGF) announced its finalists for the 2014 IGF Awards, with over 30 independent game nominations from titles released in the past year. The popular iOS title, Device 6, leads the way with multiple nominations that include Excellence in Visual Art, Excellence in Narrative, and Excellence in Audio.

Users can vote for the IGF Audience Award beginning February 18. The main IGF Awards take place on March 19 at the San Francisco Moscone Convention Center. Below you can find the full list of finalists for the 2014 Independent Games Festival.

Independent Games Festival Mobile Winners Announced - iPhone Sweeps!

The IGF Mobile awards were announced at the Game Developers Conference this week, and the iPhone, less than a year after commercial games became available for it, swept the awards winning all categories.

In celebration of these awards and due to extra publicity by Apple in the App Store, have reduced their prices to help increase sales for the nominated applications. Here's a rundown of the winners:

Best Mobile Game - Fieldrunners
