HeroCraft has updated its strategy game Medieval Wars: Strategy & Tactics to include several new features. From its info sheet:

A free campaign ‘In Praise of Odin!’ consists of 9 missions, in which you will take part in the Vikings’ bloody wars in Scandinavia and Mainland Europe.
* You will be able to capture Paris, invade England and Southern Italy.
* With the great Rollo you will found the Normandy dukedom.
* In Oleg the Prophet’s campaign you will gain Kiev

Additionally, there are four new historical scenarios:

*In the bloody ‘Battle of Brávellir’ you will defeat the legendary Harald Wartooth, the King of Danes and Swedes.
*In a huge scenario called ‘Vikings' Wars’ you will be able to keep half of Europe in fear and make them look to the seas in terror.
*Playing as Harald Fairhair in the ‘Unification of Norway’ you will set the Norse crown atop your head.
*As Cnut the Great you will win the war against Norway and Sweden and establish power over these lands

Medieval Wars is available for free on the App Store.

HeroCraft has released its latest strategy title to the App Store. Medieval Wars: Strategy & Tactics comes with a free and premium version so players can test the waters before committing to the premium price. Players control the armies of England, France, and the Crusaders in three campaigns set in medieval history.

The free version allows users to play three missions from the England campaign, one Hotseat mode map, and one historical game scenario. The premium version comes with 16 total missions and four game scenarios.

HeroCraft has released an announcement trailer for their upcoming turn-based card collecting game, Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf. Players will build their own decks and lead their squad into tactical combat by using the cards they collect. This free-to-play title is expected to be released sometime around Q2 of 2014.

Lords of Discord is a new turn-based strategy game that just began its Kickstarter campaign. It takes place in a fantasy world where Humans and Demons battle it out. There are also the familiar orcs, giant spiders, and other nefarious creatures.

Players can play as humans or demons in two campaigns that feature 12 missions each. There is also a character development system for each race with around 30 units each. Get a glimpse of battle in the trailer below!

The big game is just around the corner and you must do everything you can to win! Actually, no, you must do all kinds of goofy things instead in this upcoming iOS title, FootLoL: Epic Fail League.

It's up to you to sabotage the football (soccer) match by using tools such as bombs, aliens, machine guns, rabid cows, and more so that you can score big on cash instead of in the game. Warhammer 40K has been around for years, but its recent spike in popularity has been great for introducing new players (and entirely new generations) to real Space Marines. And the licensing continues with Herocraft and Games Workshop's upcoming free-to-play iOS title Warhammer 40,000: Space Wolf.

Space Wolf will be a combination of turn-based tactical combat and card collecting. Moves, weapons, and pretty much everything else is handled via cards while the action plays out in 3D. More powerful cards can be acquired through victory (glorious victory!), upgraded through the Iron Priest's Forge, and presumably purchased with various forms of currency.

Follow the path of the Grey Hunter, Wolf Scout, Blood Claw, or Wolf Guard as you face-off against Word Bearers and Necrons in what is being described as "An epic campaign with branching storylines, spanning hostile environments on a far distant planet." Personally, I can't freaking wait.

Space Wolf will be coming to iOS (and Android and PC) sometime in 2014.

Strategy & Tactics: World War II has received a new update that adds two new challenging scenarios in this, obviously, strategic and tactical title.

Scenario one, Race to Berlin, has players leading troops into the capital city of Berlin with the goal of occupying the city. Scenario two, The Soviet-Japanese War, lets the player take part in the Manchukuo and southern Sakhalin operations on the side of the Soviet troops.

The Enchanted Kingdom: Elisa's Adventure puts players in a fairy-tale world full of dragons, magicians, and more. It's a match 3 puzzle game with more than 50 levels full of mystery and riddles. There are also elements of hidden objects and other mini-games to keep players entertained.

Strategy title, Majesty: The Northern Expansion, receives two brand new missions in the latest update. Players must find lost gold and overcome the Moral Decadence of the Kingdom. Until Friday, April 26th, players can download the game for $0.99 cents, 70% off its original price.
