Get Muddy And Musical With The Official Glastonbury Festival App
I've always wanted to go to arguably the biggest and best known British music festival - Glastonbury. I've yet to have the opportunity to go but for those lucky souls who are ready to get muddy (it tends to rain a lot there unfortunately) and drunk surrounded by the best acts performing at the moment, the official Glastonbury Festival app courtesy of Orange will be of great use.
There's a My Planner section in association with the Guardian Guide that offers a schedule with full listings of what's going on and where during the festival. The schedule can then be set up to alert users when their favorite bands are on and help them avoid clashes. The interactive map function enables users to check out quickly what's going on now and next for each of the many stages at the festival.
There's also an ability to share the latest line ups via Facebook, and the news section ensures that users always know the latest news to do with Glastonbury.
Plus for ticketless users like me, there's the chance of winning one of the few tickets left for the event. All users need to do is download the app before 3rd June to be entered into the competition.
