The Onion has become well-known for their satire on news media; their stories and especially their headlines have become known for sometimes being so good that they are confused for real stories. Sometimes life imitates art just a little too well, though. Sometimes crafty headline writers can spin up headlines that can seem like fake articles. Headlines like "Lauren Conrad's New MTV Reality Show Pulled for Being 'Too High Brow'" have to be from The Onion, right? Nope, real. For those who want to test their skills at discovering ludicrously-headlined articles? Try the new game Real Or Onion from Gelf Magazine, which quizzes players on their ability to decipher real headlines from fake ones. After each guess, players can see the actual article in question, to prove that it actually is true. Players only get 2 wrong guesses before game over, but can see the percentage of people who got the question wrong, along with snarky commentary from Gelf. This game that blurs the lines of fiction and reality is available now.
