Square Enix announced another Final Fantasy XV spin-off today - Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition. This mobile, episodic version of the hit RPG gives the game a chibi-fied makeover. The first episode will be free, followed by 9 more premium episodes. Judging by the above trailer, the game actually looks to be quite faithful to the source game.

It's frankly adorable, and I'm a huge fan of being able to take a favorite RPG on the road with me. It's too early to say with any certainty how good Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition will be, but the announcement is a good opportunity to look back on other excellent RPGs that deserve pocket editions.
