Dig Dug Remix

Dig Dug Remix

iPhone App - Designed for the iPhone, compatible with the iPad
Dig Dug Remix is really two games in one. We are not only given the classic that was brought to our screens back in 1982 (eek I don't remember - honest) but also the remix version which is thankfully juiced up a bit. In this case, I am definitely preferring the remix to the classic.

Freefall’n

Freefall’n

iPhone App - Designed for the iPhone, compatible with the iPad
Freefall'n is a bland falling-based game with difficult controls and a simple premise. Jumping out of a plane still doesn't appeal to me, and it takes too long to be a good casual game.

Block Knights

iPhone App - Designed for the iPhone, compatible with the iPad
Block Knights is everything that Tetris on the iPhone should have been. Blocks are played on all four walls, thanks to the accelerometer, and the result is a difficult and delighting game that really puts a fresh face on an old classic.

Tetris

Tetris

iPhone App - Designed for the iPhone, compatible with the iPad
Tetris is a game with a strong following of dedicated fans and casual players alike. While EA Games has made a decent attempt at porting it to the iPhone, it falls short of its potential thanks to clunky controls and somewhat limited gameplay, which is a shame.
