Just a yellow bird
Flappin’ in a lonely world
He took a green warp pipe
Onto the App Store
Just a small town dev
Lookin’ for some extra cred
He took a green warp pipe

Suddenly a download boom
Everybody seems confused
But for nothing they can share his flight
It goes on and on and on and on

Copies lurking
Up and down the Top Free List
But they aren’t really
Flappy Bird
Mobile gamers
Livin’ just to find distraction
Flappin’ their way through those pipes

Sportin’ ads to pay the bills
People start to have their fill
There are stirrings of shady reviews
And cloned gameplay
Some were nice
Some were rude
Some decided to exclude
Oh the drama never ends
It goes on and on and on and on

Haters lurking
Up and down the RSS feeds
Their anger is the
Final straw
Flappy Bird is
Pulled off the App Store rather fast
And now it’s up on eBay

Don’t stop believin’
Hold on to that feelin’
Flappy players
Don’t stop believin'

It’s still on your account
