CSR Racing, by NaturalMotion Games, has recently received a big update. Players who have completed Tier 5 can open the new World Tour Multiplayer feature, allowing them to race against all-new international crews to earn RP and prizes.

What’s an update for a racing game without new cars? Players will alsohave access to five awesome new Ferraris: the F430, 458 Speciale, F12berlinetta, F40, and LaFerrari.

You can pick up your new Ferrari in CSR Racing for free on the App Store.

Still gorgeous, still oddly compelling, still grind-tastic, and still more than a little cynical.

CSR Classics is Full of Ridiculously Pretty Classic Automobiles

I’ve never been much of a “car” guy, but even I can’t look away from the gorgeous feats of engineering in CSR Classics.

Now you can get ahold of your own classic junk heap, then upgrade and repair it until you have something truly worth showing off. Cobras, Camaro, Mustangs, and more are available for acquisition and competition in the game’s seemingly endless series of drag races. Being able to restore my own muscle car is more than enough of a draw for me personally (yes, even though I’m not a car guy), but you can check out the extended gameplay trailer – courtesy of Touch Gameplay – below to see if CSR Classics tickles your fancy as well.

This week, our top Powerslyde recommendations are all about games. So why waste any more time? Let’s get to the list:

Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter Pro
Office Jerk
CSR Racing
Robbery Bob
MotoHeroz

Some obscure games populating the list this week, for sure. However, Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter Pro got a solid four-star review from our own Jennifer Allen, who said, “Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter is a hunting sim with brains, but it could do with a smoother learning curve. Persevere and it’s fantastically satisfying.” Allen also gave a three-star review to CSR Racing, mentioning a tendency towards monetization in the game that got in the way of gameplay.

As for the remainder of our list, Office Jerk is a strange Paper Toss-type game that has players hurling unusual objects at an annoying co-worker, Robbery Bob is an overhead-view stealth game, and MotoHeroz is a Trials HD clone that got a great review from Carter Dotson.

So let this be a lesson to you, loyal reader: a game’s obscurity does not mar its playability. Keep that in mind as you recommend apps and games to others. And thanks to Powerslyde, the app that recommends apps, for this week’s list. What apps do you recommend? Drop us a comment below, or send us a message on Facebook or Twitter. See you next week!

NASCAR Red Line, from Eutechnyx is a light management and reaction game where you manage a racer through a series of races. Combining elements of a sports management game and reaction game like CSR Racing into a new type of racing game. NASCAR Red Line should be available this summer.

It's not that Fast & Furious 6 isn't a fun drag racer, it's just that its slow recharging mechanic puts one off getting drawn in.
