Condé Nast Traveller, "the world's most discerning travel magazine", has released a handful of city guide apps into the app store. Put away your Zagat guides and your silly Yelp app, Condé Nast will have you walking around Rome, New York, Barcelona, and Paris like you've lived there your whole life.

Included in the app is GPS and augmented reality, showing you "500+ fully searchable listings, updated quarterly, for food & drink, where to stay, shopping, and nightlife" all reviewed by the Condé Nast team. Also included is a word of mouth feature that shares with you where "passionate authorities on each city" would go during a stay. To top it off, you get audio tours that have Condé Nast editors taking you around to their favorite places and recently published articles about the chosen location.

To add a personal flair to the app, Condé Nast Traveller City Guide lets you put together to-do lists (called your "Bespoke ‘to do’ list journal", because a regular to-do list just isn't classy enough), the ability to share your trip via Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, and e-mail, as well as the ability to add a personal picture library.

Be sure to take a look at Condé Nast Traveller City Guide for your next trip to New York, Paris, Rome, or Barcelona. It's a bit pricey at $9.99 a city, but it definitely has more than enough information to make your stay a memorable one.
